August afternoon - the River Rother, Newenden
With the sun shining I drove down to Newenden to paint beside the River Rother.
I chose a quiet spot away from the main activities - it is one of my old/favourite spots to paint. The weather was perfect; sunshine, a gentle breeze and some very interesting clouds.
