Snow in the orchard, Benenden

So grateful to have the opportunity to paint a snow scene this winter. Settled snow in the South East is pretty rare. I walked into the orchard behind our house and settled on this view which included one of our apple trees and after 2.5 hrs painting I had to call it a day as my fingers were too cold to hold my brushes. The snow falling onto my palette made the paint really tricky to handle but I really loved doing it - a nice challenge and great fun.
