Ripple Reflections, River Medway
I had a really enjoyable day painting with my friend and fellow artist Joanne Weaver. We set up beside the River Medway at East Farleigh. The weather was weird today - unusually warm, a breeze which got stronger as the day progressed and at around 2pm Jo asked me to turn around to see an orange sun - as you would see at sunset! Later the sky took on a yellow hue - all very strange and other-worldly! Storm Ophelia and the Sahara dust (which was one theory I heard) created an unusual mood.....
