Spring Colours, Hennicker Pond
After a few weeks without painting due to other commitments, I was itching to get out today and with the sun shining I went along to Hartley Lands Fishery, Cranbrook. I chose to paint one of the small fishing ponds because of its more natural setting with a small wooded area and luckily I was there to capture the last of the bluebells. The pond is full of life with very big carp visible and numerous ducks flying in for regular visits. It's a beautiful place and I had a really wonderful day.
