The Old Apple Orchard, September
I thought it would be a good idea to make the most of the fine weather today and decided to return to the old apple orchard behind our house. With the trees in full leaf and laden with fruit it was a totally different scene from April and May when I painted them last. I really enjoy trying to capture these old trees and once again it was a pleasant change not having to drive to my painting location.
