Winter sun rays, Hawkhurst
I finally managed to get out to paint yesterday - my first outing this year and long overdue! Last week I found a view that I thought would make a good subject, so with my thermals and lots of layers on, off I went on a short drive to Hawkhurst. The ground is really wet and muddy after all the weeks of rain so pulling my trolley along to the location was pretty hard work, but I finally got there and set up. Although it was bitterly cold, there was very little wind yesterday so it was a glorious day to be out painting.
